Making debate accessible to everyone

Last Updated: August 4, 2025

At Logosive, we believe that everyone should have equal access to participate in and enjoy meaningful debates. We're committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to people with disabilities and we continuously work to improve the user experience for all of our users.

Accessibility Standards

Logosive strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities.

We regularly audit our platform using both automated tools and manual testing to identify and fix accessibility issues. Our development team is trained in accessibility best practices to ensure new features are built with accessibility in mind from the start.

Accessibility Features

We've implemented the following features to improve accessibility on Logosive:

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements can be accessed using keyboard navigation. Tab through the interface, use Enter to activate buttons and links, and Escape to close dialogs and menus.

Screen Reader Support

We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to ensure screen readers can properly interpret and announce content. All images include alternative text descriptions.

Visual Design

Our interface maintains a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. We support both light and dark modes to accommodate different visual preferences.

Clear Language

We use clear, simple language throughout our platform and provide context for complex features. Error messages are descriptive and offer actionable solutions.

Responsive Design

Logosive works across all devices and screen sizes, allowing users to zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality or content.

Browser and Assistive Technology Support

Logosive is designed to work with current versions of major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We test our platform with popular screen readers including:

  • JAWS (Windows)
  • NVDA (Windows)
  • VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
  • TalkBack (Android)

Known Accessibility Issues

We're continuously working to improve accessibility across our platform. Current areas we're addressing include:

  • Improving video player controls for better keyboard accessibility
  • Adding more detailed image descriptions for complex debate graphics
  • Enhancing form validation messages for screen reader users

We appreciate your patience as we work on these improvements. If you encounter any issues, please let us know.

Third-Party Content

Some content on Logosive may be provided by debate organizers and participants. While we encourage all users to create accessible content and provide tools to help them do so, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all user-generated content. We're working on features to help content creators make their debates more accessible.
